The Journey Inward

Today I took a challenge to write about a bank, any kind of bank, whether financial institution, ground near a river, noun, verb, and so on.  Here is my take...

A deposit of kindness,
Of thoughtfulness and generosity,
Compassion and empathy,
Listening and witnessing,
Love and gentleness.

A withdrawal of support,
Of being heard and seen,
Known and accepted,
Nurtured and cared for,
Loved and liked.

These are the transactions
Of the Relationship Bank.
