I Sit for Treats

They have been running and chasing each other around the pool, delirious.

Suddenly, a boy appears with treats in his hand,
Signaling that they should "Sit!"

At once, the four bodies that couldn't stay still, that didn't listen to owners
Come to a screeching halt, attentive to the scintillating scent
And sit politely like statues for their savory treat.
