The Journey Inward

Under the mask so polished, pristine, and polite,
(Nothing to see here, nothing to notice),
Meet One who seeks real connection, true connection,
Acceptance for her authentic
Self, which seeks to be seen and heard and known.  She
Keeps herself "safe," missing the whole point that
Everything she wants, everything she seeks, is
Deep within her, and it all starts there.
