The Journey Inward

A stranger in my daughter's new city,

I follow where she leads, impressed by her confidence
As she navigates the area she has come to know through countless walks, runs and
        bike rides.

It's not just Miami that's new to me, but also this young woman,
All grown up with a furnished apartment, cleaning products under the sink and a
       grocery list on the fridge whiteboard.
Motherhood is an everchanging, always growing relationship with people who never
        cease to surprise you.
