Writing (It’s National Day on Writing!)

Writing
Challenges the children, battling spelling and specificity,
Writing
Heals the heart, bringing clarity and calm,
Writing
Inspires the inclined, who sharpen their senses,
Writing
Soothes the sorrowful, memorializing those they miss,
Writing
Validates the voices, of the unconsidered and unseen,
Writing
Expands the enlightened, seeking transformation and truth,
Writing
Maximizes the manifestor, focusing on their future,
Writing
Buoys the bored, adding interest and intrigue,
Writing
Records the rants, arguing through their anger,
Writing
Captures the chronicles, recording family rituals,
Writing
Pens the passions, joining lovers and lives,
Writing
Coaxes the quiet, whose thoughts go unheard,
Writing
Connects the kids, now grown and gone,
Writing
Grounds the grieving, letting feelings unfurl,
Writing
Give the gift of well-considered words.
