I’m taking a class called Love Your Life for the month of January. Each day I listen to a lesson and then do some journaling in the workbook. Although nothing has been too new to me, I appreciate the time spent on and with myself, as well as getting clear on what I want and focusing my energy on the thoughts that move me forward.
One activity that excited me was to get into the details, the specific goals for myself. I chose four…
I will hold myself in high esteem. I will love all my parts, speaking lovingly to myself. I will trust myself, forgive myself. I will trust my path. I will recognize triggers and extend myself grace, being curious and nonjudgmental.
I will experience intimacy in my relationships. I will be vulnerable and authentic. I will tell my story. I will be a safe and secure partner/friend/sibling/neighbor and seek the same in return.
I will leave space for creativity. I will not fill my day so much that I don't leave space, quiet, and stillness for creativity to find me and work within me. I will write, decorate, lead classes, garden.
My lifestyle promotes longevity. I will choose gentle but challenging exercises, eat more protein and cut back a tiny bit on sugar.
I will live in expansion. I will disregard the "shoulds," rigid rules, black and white thinking, judgment of self and others, and letting fear be in control.
As they say, it's in the details!
