The Journey Inward

a thought, a word,
judgments-
the confluence of opinions,
the committee of decision,
the 'right' reasons,
public announcements,
analyses,
"discussing" the matter,
without hesitation or worry.

she didn't ask anyone for advice,
she didn't search,
she didn't call the prayer line.
the anxiety held her back,
kept her from moving forward.

it wasn't good.
