She loves to be of help,
And lend a "listening" ear,
And if you cry or yelp,
She'll pull up close and near.

She says it's all for you,
But is it just for "me?"
Because you're a person who
Can validate her need.

For when she lends a hand,
It's how she gets control,
She'll help you hatch your plan,
To protect your "fragile" soul.

And when she's "got your back,"
It's so she gets from you,
The validation that she lacks,
Her self worth is quite askew.
