The Journey Inward

Inside of balance is a notion that we can detach and just Let it be,
And inside of letting it be is moderation, with nothing withheld and nothing in excess,
And inside of moderation is surrender, giving up the need to control outcomes,
And inside of surrender is flow, giving up that resistance to change,
And inside of flow is peace, a feeling that we are okay,
And inside of peace is ease, simplifying what once we complicated,
And inside of ease is contentment, feeling abundance in what we already have,
And inside of contentment is openness, lowering our walls to let the moments in,
And inside of openness is expansion, letting ourselves grow big and bold,
And inside of expansion is acceptance, radically admitting to what is,
And inside of acceptance is the Universe, opening before us with opportunity,
And inside of the Universe is perspective, understanding that we are not alone,
And inside of perspective is intuition, looking inward to find our course,
And inside of intuition is Self love, doing what feels right to  and for us,
And inside of Self love is Self respect, honoring our natures and core essences,
And inside of Self respect is generosity, giving to and of ourselves,
And inside of generosity is spirit, that indomitable life giving force,
And inside of spirit is tolerance, our ability to withstand discomfort,
And inside of tolerance is welcome, our willingness to grow and evolve,
And inside of welcome is embrace, the act of wrapping our arms around uncertainty,
And inside of embrace is embody, feeling the connection between our mind and body,
And inside of embody is empower, knowing everything we need is inside of us,
And inside of empower is enlighten, being able to see ourselves and others as we are,
And inside of enlighten is ascend, the act of rising up and finding our voice,
And inside of ascend is elevate, achieving that next level of Self awareness,
And inside of elevate is transform, letting our pain journey guide others,
And inside of transform is heal, integrating all our parts,
And inside of heal is love, feeling worthy and deserving,
And inside of love is radiate, shining brightly from within as a beacon to those seeking.

This poem was a simple word association, where I jotted down the word I was playing with that day and just kept going with the next thought to see where it would take me.
