The Journey Inward

I truly believe
The Universe hears you-
Your deepest needs,
Your readiness for growth,
Your silent fears-
And sends you messages,
Through people, texts, emails, nature, clouds,
Animals, words, signs, reflections, chance meetings.

Today I read Deja Rae's words-
"...by standing strong in your truth, 
you naturally weed out
everyone and everything
that doesn't align with you."

I knew the Universe had put those words before me,
Reminding me of who I am,
What I offer,
What I want,
And what I deserve.

She went on to say,
"...you will be continually tested,
With situations that push past your boundaries,
That compromise your standards.
It is your responsibility,
To protect your peace."

The Universe once again messaging me,
That my boundaries reflect my self respect,
And that I alone can give myself peace.
That I alone can ground myself,
That I alone can create a safe space.
