Saturday night’s concert was a dream come true. I have always adored James Taylor’s soulful voice and beautiful lyrics, and getting to see him in person was pure magic! His stories in between songs were so charming and his band and back up singers were incredibly strong. When he sang a duet with his son, it brought me to tears. The stadium was packed and all of us in our 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s sang along to every word!
Tiny Habits, the opening trio, were amazing songwriters who sang about what they knew… ADD, things about themselves they didn’t like, and being an introvert. I was so impressed with their vulnerability and expressiveness.
I was grateful for cheap lawn tickets that were fun, flexible and put me right where I’d always wanted to be!
