The Journey Inward

I am a sumptuous blanket,
     a cup of soothing tea,
          and a knowing smile.
               I'm right here.

Feel my warmth around you,
     as you share the deep darkness,
          you've never wanted anyone to see.
               I'm right here.

Feel my warmth inside you,
     filling your frigid places,
          your empty spaces,
               I'm right here.

Feel my warmth surround you,
     whispering, "be who you are,
          because who you are is enough."
               I'm right here.
