No matter where I am, I am drawn to the path, Be it through the woods, By a river or creek, Across a snow covered field, Or through a tunnel. As I walk down the path, I look not only forward, But to my left and right, Taking in the sights and sounds Of this particular place, And let Nature do her work on me. For I can't help but see The analogy, the metaphor, Of the journey I am taking on this path, And the journey I am taking in this life, And the two merge, The confluence creating peace and ease within me.
