The Journey Inward

Take one cup of fresh air,
     Wind and wildflowers,     
     Rainfall and rainbows,
     Scents of the season.

Add two dollops of sunshine,
     Bright and brilliant,
     Warm and wonderful,
     Seducing my skin.


Three pinches of activity,
     Running and riding,
     Walking and watersports,
     Soothing the senses.

Mix and marinate,
     Dawn to dusk,
     Peaceful or Playful,
     Nurturing my soul.
