I’m Leaving on a Jet Plane

My personal item's packed,
I'm ready to go,
I'm standing here outside my door,
The dogs at the window wanting to say goodbye,
But the dawn is breaking,
It's early morn,
The uber's waiting,
He's hit his horn,
Already I'm so excited,
I could die.

So I'll hug me and smile for me,
Tell me that it's time for me,
To hold my girl and never let her go,
'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane,
Too soon that I'll be back again,
Holy moly, I can't wait to go!

There's many times I've wanted to fly down,
So many times I've searched around,
Checking flights, it's hard to find a thing,
Every place we go, we'll have a blast,
Every song we hear, we'll think of the past,
When I come back, I'll have seen her wedding ring!

So I'll hug me and smile for me,
Tell me that it's time for me,
To hold my girl and never let her go,
'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane,
Too soon that I'll be back again,
Holy moly, I can't wait to go!
