A Writer's Notebook
The MRI came back and the news was
not good - ligament tear and tendon
tear, plus high and low sprains of the
others, and still the awful
swelling and bruising, the
foot unable to
bear weight after
five weeks on
crutches-
pain.
She
has been
a trooper
since the soccer
injury that put
an end to her season
and to her running training.
Her spirits have been so good and
her team's support and scooter gift have
reminded her of what matters most-love.

Heavenly Father,
I lift up Leigh’s daughter to You, asking for Your healing touch. Please ease her pain and bring comfort to her body as she recovers from her injuries. Surround her with love, joy, and encouragement during this challenging time. Help her and her parents spirits stay strong, and remind them that brighter days are ahead.
As they await for her surgery date, we hope for blessings that will truly kickstart her healing. May she feel Your warmth and support in every moment, guiding her on her path to recovery.
