The Journey Inward

At an event with a dear friend,
At a coffee shop with my youngest,
At a stop on a rail trail with my oldest,
At a cozy nursery in the country with friends,
At a pop up dinner with my Writefully Hers group,
At the U.S. Open with my fellow tennis-loving daughter,
At a spring beach getaway weekend with my Pod Squad ladies.

We raise our glasses and clink,
To love, celebration, togetherness,
Adventure, special events, friendship.
A common act, but never without meaning,
This ritual that is a symbol of connection.
