Rosemary Hill Farm

Today I met friends at Rosemary Hill Farm in Pretoria. This property allowed for an 11K walk through pine tree paths, pecan tree groves, lavender and rosemary fields, a pond, stables, and endless rays of warm sun. Birgit and I did the first 5K together. Yuri and I did the next 6K together. And then I had lunch with two of the other women I hadn’t had a chance to walk with. We had the most stimulating conversation over lunch and planned coffee together.

While I was hiking, I was following Eunine’s progress at the Cape Town marathon. She did great!!!

My car was so dusty and dirty from the dirt road leading to Rosemary Farm that I got a cleaning in the parking lot at the mall!

I bought homemade cookies made by the bread baker we stopped to talk to at the distillery on site. She said the farm is her favorite place. She highly recommended the pecan white chocolate chip cookies, and she was right! I also bought lotions and linen sprays and other products made from plants on the farm.
