Seattle

Seattle was such a vibrant city surrounded by tremendous natural beauty. We loved walking around, window shopping, and seeing the art, but even more so we loved being near the water or in the woods.

Gillian picked me up at the airport and we stayed at a nearby hotel, getting up early and hitting the road for Seattle. She had reserved an Airbnb for us that was right near a bus stop.

Seeing my childhood friend, Sherry, was a particular thrill. Sherry, Ondine and I spent many of our days together and met every morning to walk to school. Later, Shari moved in between our houses and it was the four of us. Suzanne and Pam were also with us a great deal, too. The independence we had growing up in a small town made for some magical memories!

I was there for like a day when I dropped my daughter off to live there, but haven’t really explored
