The Journey Inward

I bought a raspberry and peach Galette at Wayfarer for dessert the night before, but ate so much pizza that I had it the next morning with my tea.

The Fourth of July weekend brought crowds to the beach, and most locals stayed away, though I did my daily run and walk on the promenade.

Gigi and the pups used part of the day to get some naps in, while Gillian sent pictures of the corn dog eating contest on her boat out in the northwest Pacific. Henry is starting to feel better, but is still needing plenty of rest.

I find myself so drawn to texture, and the trees here delight me!
